What can I put in a skip bin?

  • Please advise if you need a skip bin for bricks & concrete only

  • Please advise if you need a bin for clean fill, top soil & dirt only

  • Steel can be accepted but regular skip hire charges apply

  • Organic matter such as trees, branches, lawn clippings & untreated timber

  • Building or renovating? Riverina Skips accepts building waste including concrete rubble, timber, insulation, steel, tiles, gyprock, bricks, old kitchens & bathrooms. Please note NO ASBESTOS is accepted.

  • Asbestos can not be accepted in any of our skips.

    • Hazardous waste

    • Liquids (paint, oils, chemicals)

    • Gas bottles & fire extinguishers

    • Refrigerators without CFC gases removed

    • Tyres

    • Mattresses

    • Refrigerators with CFC gases removed only

Please note that skip bins must not be filled above level for safety reasons.

What’s allowed in a front lift waste bin?

Front lift bins are ideal for ongoing regular domestic & business waste disposal.

Please note the following items cannot be put in a front-lift bin

✗ Pallets
✗ Asbestos
✗ Gas Cylinders
✗ Bulky furniture
✗ Car Batteries or tyres
✗ Concrete/ bricks/ tiles/ soil
✗ Liquid chemicals, paint, flammables
✗ NO FIRES IN BIN
✗ DO NOT OVERFILL BIN - LID MUST BE CLOSED
